David Allcott

CEng MICE MBEng AssocRICS

David is a Structural Engineer and a member of RICS. His varied career spans almost three decades, including experience in structural engineering, subsidence, underpinning, dilapidations, chemical contaminations, project management and general management.

 

David specialises in project management, contract administration, structural appraisals and expert witness.

Timothy Allcott

MRICS

Timothy is an RICS Chartered Building Surveyor and a founding partner of Allcott Associates LLP. His specialisms include the provision of a broad range of professional services and consultancy advice to commercial, industrial and private clients countrywide and abroad.

 

His areas of expertise include historic buildings, conservation, planned maintenance, refurbishment and project management.

Matthew Baker

MRICS

Matthew is an RICS Chartered Building Surveyor with a wide variety of experience in both private practice and public authority. He has significant experience in all aspects of commercial and residential property with the addition of property management of historic buildings early in his career.

David Thomas

MRICS

David is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has practised as a Building Surveyor since 2001, following completion of a vocational degree in Building Surveying at the University of Glamorgan and election to membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2009.

 

Since joining Allcott Associates, David has gained extensive experience in providing Building Surveys, Homebuyers Surveys and Specific Defect Surveys on a wide range of residential properties. In addition, David carries out Expert Witness Surveys and provides Party Wall services.

Peter Vince

MRICS

Peter is a Chartered Building Surveyor. He trained with Rumball Sedgwick of Watford and St. Albans and was elected an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1984. Peter joined Goddard and Jones of Croydon as a partner and practised in South London and the South East over a 25 year period. He joined Allcott Associates in 2013.

 

Peter has extensive experience undertaking Building Surveys, Home Condition reports, and Specific Defect reports. He has also provided Expert Witness surveys for landlord/tenant issues and is able to provide Party Wall services.

Peter Mallinson

MRICS

Pete is an RICS Chartered Building Surveyor with a range of experience covering residential and commercial property. Pete’s experience includes a focus on project management, contract administration, procurement and design and specification for public and private sector client

Nicholas Kelly

MA, FRICS, MCIfA, IHBC, RICS Certified Historic Building Professional

Nick draws on 30 years’ experience in the construction industry across the commercial & charitable sectors, the latter 12 specialising in the historic environment. Nick is an experienced Chartered Surveyor and registered as a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Additionally, he holds conservation qualifications as an RICS Certified Historic Building Professional, Full Member of the Institute for Historic Building Conservation, and a Full Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. He also hold a Natural England Licensing to Level 2 for bat surveys.

 

This experience includes the project management, design & delivery of heritage repair, re-servicing, rehabilitation, restoration & interpretation schemes, from £5K to £4.5M, to historic & listed buildings and scheduled monuments within Conservation Areas, Registered Parks & Gardens, AONB & World Heritage Sites. He works on properties across the domestic, holiday, religious, commercial, industrial, educational & tourism sectors, balancing the sensitive and often conflicting conservation, commercial and operational needs to reach quality, budget, programme, safety & service targets.

Stuart Scoffin

BSc MRICS

Stuart is an RICS Chartered Building Surveyor with a variety of employment history within Local Authority, Social Housing and Private Practice over a 22 year career, which has provided him with the necessary knowledge and skills to act professionally and efficiently. Disciplines during his career include Senior Building Surveyor, Project Manager, and Principal Designer in the delivering of multidiscipline refurbishment and planned maintenance programmes for a variety of residential and commercial clients to project values of £28M.

 

In addition to project management roles Stuart has extensive experience in the delivery of professional services including management and delivery of Stock Condition Surveys on a wide range of residential properties, and undertaking feasibility reports, cost option appraisals, building condition surveys, diagnosing disrepairs, 30year life cycle business plans, schedule of condition surveys, and dilapidation surveys. Stuart has been a Fire Risk Assessor within his last employment undertaking FRA surveys on various general let and supported housing property types for social housing clients.

Marina Szabady

MRICS

Marina is a Chartered Surveyor, being a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. She has practiced as a Chartered Surveyor since 2008.

 

Marina joined Ridge and Partners LLP in 2004 and practiced in London and the South East over a 10 year period. She joined Allcott Associates in 2017.

 

Marina has extensive experience undertaking Building Surveys, Home Condition reports, and Specific Defect reports. She has also been involved in Party Wall and Dilapidations projects. She has worked with a range of clients including Housing Associations, Ministry of Defence, Universities and Schools, Local Authorities and the like to deliver maintenance, new build, refurbishment and defects rectification projects.
