Award success for Allcott Associates!
April has been a busy month for Allcott Associates. Just a few weeks ago, we were delighted to be awarded Best Comprehensive Structural Engineering Firm – England & Wales for SME-News’ 2021 UK Enterprise Awards. The award recognizes our structural engineering offering, which has grown substantially over the past year. For our residential work, our growth means that we can now support more clients with structural calculations and designs for loft conversions, extensions and other structural alterations. On the commercial side, we have increased our work on structural feasibility studies, PV calculations, and designs and structural calculations for mezzanines, portal frames, internal wall removals and other structural works.
Hot on the heels of the SME award, yesterday we found out that we have been shortlisted in the Property category of the Bristol Life Awards. Allcott Associates expanded into Bristol 5 years ago, and our work in the region has grown substantially since then, with a 40% increase in the size of our Bristol team in the past year alone. With plans to recruit further in the city later this year, Bristol looks set to be a key office for Allcotts. Our Bristol work centres around residential property, with our chartered surveyors carrying out hundreds of Full RICS Building Surveys and HomeBuyers surveys in the region each year. We love working in such a vibrant, fast-moving and varied property market and we are relishing the opportunities we have had to grow the firm in this city.
We have also been lucky enough to have our entry in the Birmingham Post Business awards recently highlighted by Business Live.
The past year has been exceptional for many reasons, both good and bad. We are very thankful to have the opportunity to celebrate the positives that have come out of 2020 alongside other fantastic UK businesses, and we are looking forward to bigger and better things in 2021.
