Career Opportunity: RICS Building Surveyor

The role

We are looking for someone to support us with carrying out Level 3 Full Building Surveys and Level 2 HomeBuyer Surveys in the Cambridge region. This  home-based role comes with the support of our nationwide, multi-disciplined team, who provide help and guidance from surveyors and structural engineers with a diverse range of expertise. We work on a wide variety of residential properties, and we offer the option to get involved with commercial work if that is something you are interested in.

The person

We are looking for a Cambridgeshire-based surveyor looking to build on their existing residential survey experience within a growing firm. You need to be chartered with the RICS and be able to commit to delivering an excellent service to our clients.

You need to have strong attention to detail and be confident in carrying out residential survey work independently to a high standard.


You will have experience of:

  • a wide range of structural and building defects
  • preparing and presenting comprehensive, accurate survey reports
  • providing clear, concise, justified conclusions
  • working independently and within a team structure
  • liaising with clients, both verbally and through written correspondence


A full UK driving licence is required.
