Specific Defect Survey / Specific Structural Survey
A specific defect survey or specific structural survey is provided by our in-house team of Structural Engineers; the survey is an inspection of a building’s particular structural problems or concerns, the structural defect survey would include any related building matters which are found during the inspection.
The specific defect / specific structural report would include details of what is found during the building inspection. It will state whether or not there is a problem with the structure of the building, and if there is, what needs to be done to rectify the problems found. Where repairs or remedial works are required, or if further investigations are recommended, the structural defect report will give you the budget costs for these.
All of our Specific Structural Surveys / Specific Defect Surveys are carried out to the highest standards by Structural Engineers (CEng) who are members of either the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), or the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
Allcott Associates LLP employ both Chartered Building Surveyors and Structural Engineers, this means the reports we produce for you are comprehensive and will never need referring back to a Building Surveyor or Structural Engineer for further investigation and at a further cost.
Unlike other firms, we are completely independent and our reports are accepted by all financial institutions and insurance companies.
For your convenience we have offices in: Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Oxford & Leamington Spa.
