We recently spoke to Record Nations about the benefits of taking a business paperless. Having transitioned to paperless quite a few years ago now, it was a useful and rather pleasant exercise to spend time discussing the benefits that we’ve seen from making the move.
As a company, we are committed to taking a close and responsible interest in environmental issues, Working as a paperless business helps us achieve our aims of conserving resources and minimising waste whenever possible. But it’s not only beneficial from an environmental perspective; flexibility of access to data, data security and efficiency have all improved since we made our data virtual. Customer records are available at the click of a button, and can be accessed by our staff from anywhere, whichever office they are working from and, as many have been over the past twelve months, if they are working from home. This flexible access remains secure, thanks to security systems put in place by our IT team, such as multifactor authentication and sophisticated firewalls.
