13 Dec Bringing the Magic of Hansel and Gretel to the Cambridge Community
In the middle of a snow-covered forest sits a tiny cottage unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Its roof is made of gingerbread, the walls are made of chocolate cake, the door is made of boiled sweets and the windows of clear sugar glaze, but what’s inside…?
We don’t think the strapline for the Cambridge Junction’s production of Hansel and Gretel could be much more enchanting and intriguing! After a fantastic opening night, the show is now in full swing, captivating audiences from Cambridge and beyond.
Allcott Associates is supporting the theatre with funds to enable pupils from the Spring Common Academy in Huntingdon to come and watch this captivating performance and experience its magic.
The Junction’s adaptation of the classic fairytale has created a playful, funny and heartwarming play that we’re sure the children will love. With a mix of new and old songs, traditional tales and modern twists, it is a great way to kick off the festive season.
It’s a privilege to be able to support charities and organisations local to our Cambridge building surveyors, as part of our commitment to our local communities. We are so pleased that the students at the academy will have the opportunity to attend this Christmas production and make some extraordinary memories.
